An Evaluation of the Step Up Step Down Pilot Programme in Pembrokeshire
This evaluation looked at how the Step Up Step Down programme was used in Wales to support families who were at risk of having their children taken into care. The programme aimed to help families stay together by strengthening relationships and building parents’ confidence and ability to care for their children.
The evaluation was carried out in two stages so that it could include both areas where the programme was piloted in Wales: Pembrokeshire and Powys. This summary focuses on the findings from the Pembrokeshire pilot.
